What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why should every marketer online make one?

It's a strategy for marketing that you use to convince prospective customers to purchase your product. It is a process of selling in which someone visits your blog to find the information they need to solve their problem. However, via certain tools, you will be able to establish a relationship with each person who visits your blog.

This will allow you to understand the customers' requirements. This will allow you to provide the best information possible to all visitors. Once you gain a visitor's trust, that person will be more comfortable purchasing products. The visitor then transform into a customer.

Many customers become regular customers, and will be more likely to buy each item on your site. A marketing funnel consists of the different stages of sales it takes to convert a regular visitor to your website into an extremely loyal customer who is willing to buy everything that you can throw at them.

This is the ultimate goal for any internet marketer. This is possible with a well-designed funnel.

Your efforts to market are capturing people's attention, and drawing them into your funnel. When they fill out the forms that you have on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page, they are able to enter your funnel. Since no one is going to sign up to your lead capture page, I said "personal". They are looking for an executive to join them, not a small company.

The page for lead capture acts as the entry point into the funnel. Clicking the "Sign up now" as well as "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of network marketing.

It's their choice. It's up to them. You haven't offered anything other than that you're a leader, mentor, and someone who can help them increase leads and also more cash into their business.

This is how a standard marketing funnel works:

At the "front-end" you can offer a free offer to attract and attract people who might be interested in purchasing your products later on in the sales funnel. You will need to sign up to get the product (also called opt in) and enter your email address and name. Then, they will be added to your email mailing list.

Now you have those people on your list of email addresses and can send other similar offers to them that they may be interested in.

They will be taken to a page that offers a low-price offer or what is called trip wire deals immediately after signing to receive the offer for free. This is where they'll be moving to your "backend" of funnel.

If they buy the low priced offer then they will be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). And if the person also purchases the higher-priced offer, they will again be transferred to the next product with a more expensive cost. The process could continue for several more.
